What should be added, deleted or changed?
- Draft Vision Statement: Local Roads, street, sidewalks and trails should be designed, managed and maintained in a way so as to ensure the semi-rural character of Great Falls.
- Draft Objectives:
a. redirect commuter traffic around, not through, Great Falls;
b. facilitate the ability of residents and visitors to get to destinations both within and outside the community;
c. encourage use of mass transit;
d. facilitate and manage traffic between Loudoun County and points east and north; and
e. advance pedestrian and bike facilities
III. Local Road Repairs and Improvements
a. VDOT Response — Georgetown Pike Repairs
b. Discussion — Suggested projects and initiatives, including changing the Functional Road Classification of Georgetown Pike. See:
