The Environment and Parks Committee is supporting the "Free Native Plant Gardening Clinics" on select

The dates and location are Sept. 14 and 28 and

, and 26 at the Freedom Memorial in Great Falls, located behind the Great Falls Library at 9830 Georgetown Pike, Great Falls.
Local resident Meghan M. McGinty, Ph.D., Botanist and ecologist, shares her knowledge and is leading the clinics. While registration is not mandatory, nor is attendance at each session, McGinty requests people email her at

to know how many to expect.
