Special GFCA Membership Meeting - Bridge Replacements and Governance

Invitation to Participate in GFCA Membership Meeting: 
May 23 at 7 pm

A special in-person meeting of GFCA members will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23 at the Great Falls Library.  As required under GFCA Bylaws, this membership meeting has been called by more than 13 GFCA members in good standing to discuss and vote on two topics:

• obtain a consensus of the membership regarding replacement of the current bridges on Walker Road and Springvale Road with one or two-lane structures or alternatives, and 

• obtain a consensus of the membership regarding an association governance issue pertaining to GFCA member participation in GFCA committee meetings. 

Presentations will be made on these topics and resolutions presented for a vote of the members that evening.  Please review the proposed resolutions here.  There will be ample time for members to ask questions during the program and offer amendments to the resolutions from the floor if they choose. 

We encourage your participation in this membership meeting.  Due to the pandemic, most GFCA meetings have been virtual.  This meeting will be the first in-person membership meeting in many years.  No RSVP is required, but if you have questions about the program, please contact GFCA President Bill Canis at president@gfca.org.
