GFCA Special Committee on Schools (SCS) Meeting

Jan. 9, 2025, 8-9 pm, ZOOM Meeting

The SCS will focus on Fairfax County Public School (FCPS) activities related to its on-going comprehensive review of school boundaries. 

Potential topics include:
(1) FairFACTS Matters foundation updates to data analysis and methodologies used to forecast student enrollment that underpin any potential boundary change,
(2) plans for a follow-up meeting with FCPS Superintendent Dr. Reid and FCPS Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) Team,
(3) plans to review 2025 CIP [usually released in mid-January], and
(4) other related topics.
